Pineapple Punch - A Bright, Refreshing Party Drink

Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chilled pineapple juice (100% juice, not from concentrate if possible)
  • 2 cups chilled orange juice (fresh-squeezed if you can)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4–5 limes)
  • 2–3 tablespoons honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups chilled ginger ale or sparkling water (for fizz)
  • Ice (large cubes or an ice ring for a punch bowl)
  • Fruit for garnish: pineapple chunks, orange slices, lime wheels, and fresh mint
  • Optional (adult version): 1–1.5 cups white rum, coconut rum, or prosecco
  • Optional flavor boosts: pinch of sea salt, dash of bitters, or a splash of passion fruit juice

Instructions

  • Chill everything first. Cold ingredients make a better punch and help preserve the fizz. Refrigerate the juices, ginger ale, and any alcohol for a few hours.
  • Prep the fruit. Slice oranges and limes into thin wheels. Cut fresh pineapple into bite-size chunks. Rinse and gently pat dry the mint.
  • Mix the base. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine pineapple juice, orange juice, and lime juice. Stir in honey or simple syrup until fully dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness.
  • Add a pinch of salt. One small pinch brightens flavor without tasting salty. It subtly sharpens the fruit notes.
  • Stir in the fizz right before serving. Pour in the ginger ale or sparkling water just as guests arrive to keep the bubbles lively.
  • Garnish generously. Add pineapple chunks, citrus slices, and a handful of mint. The fruit slowly infuses more flavor as it sits.
  • Optional adult twist. If making a boozy version, stir in rum or top glasses with a splash of prosecco. Start with less, taste, and add more if needed.
  • Serve over ice. Use large ice cubes or an ice ring to keep the punch cold longer without watering it down.
