About

Ever wonder how a simple cup of coffee can turn a chaotic morning around?

That’s the magic I chase every day on Cooks & Coffee. To share my love for food and coffee. I believe simple recipes and a well-made cup of coffee can make any day better.

I try to provide easy-to-follow recipes, cooking tips, and coffee recipes and guides to help you enjoy every meal. What pulls you into the kitchen on a rough day?

Who Am I?

Hey, I’m Nichole J. Holman, the one stirring the pot here. Cooking and coffee? They’re my daily escape.

I tinker with recipes to make them foolproof – even for my clumsy self.

Goal: Get you grinning over your own creations.
Fun fact: I once hiked with a thermos of bad coffee. Lesson learned. Another: I hoard cookbooks like squirrels hoard nuts.

So, what’s your go-to kitchen hack?

Nichole J. Holman

How It Started

I grew up elbow-deep in flour with my grandmother. She turned potatoes and onions into feasts. Her apple pie? Flaky crust that crumbled just right, with apples so tart they made your cheeks pucker.

I burned my first batch – smoke alarm symphony. But I kept at it, then dove into coffee. One over-extracted espresso later, I started this site. Now I share the wins (and funny fails) to boost your kitchen game.

What You’ll Find Here

I keep things real and doable. No fancy chef hats required.

These bits help you skip the flops and savor the wins.

What grabs your eye first – food or coffee?

Why Trust Me

I earn your nod with real kitchen battles won. Landed a spot in Local Food Magazine for my no-fuss recipes. Over 500 folks have tested my tips – and emailed back raves.
